Pickleball in Plantation, Florida
Plantation has pickleball spread across five municipal parks, with the largest concentration at Plantation Central Park. Central Park is the main local starting point, with 17 pickleball courts counted within the park and access for players of all skill levels.
Volunteer Park, Deicke Park, Seminole Park, and Jacaranda Lakes Park provide additional neighborhood options. For scheduled open play, instruction, or advance booking, The Fort in nearby Fort Lauderdale offers a larger organized-play setting.
Where to Play Pickleball in Plantation
- Plantation Central Park, 9151 NW 2nd St. Central Park has 17 pickleball courts, making it Plantation's largest pickleball location. The published pickleball information welcomes all skill levels, including beginners. The court count does not specify how the 17 are divided between dedicated and shared-use configurations. Check current Plantation pickleball information.
- Volunteer Park, 12050 W. Sunrise Blvd. Four pickleball courts are available at this park on the west side of Plantation. It is a useful alternative when you already have partners and do not need the larger court group at Central Park. Check current pickleball information.
- Deicke Park, 1200 NW 106th Ave. Two pickleball courts are available here, giving nearby residents a smaller neighborhood option for an arranged game. Check current pickleball information.
- Seminole Park, 6601 SW 16th St. This neighborhood park has two pickleball courts. It is better suited to players who already have a partner or group than someone specifically looking for a large gathering of players. Check current pickleball information.
- Jacaranda Lakes Park, 1200 NW 94th Ave. One pickleball court is available at this neighborhood park. With only one court, plan on bringing your own group rather than treating it as an organized open-play destination. Check current pickleball information.
- The Fort, 891 SW 34th St., Fort Lauderdale. This dedicated pickleball facility is outside Plantation and is useful when you want organized play instead of an unscheduled park visit. The Fort has 43 regulation courts and offers open play, skill-rated sessions, private court reservations, clinics, lessons, leagues, and tournaments. Non-members can participate through available public play-pass and reservation options. Check The Fort's current play options.
Getting Started
Plantation Central Park is the simplest local starting point if you already know the basic rules. Beginners are welcome, and having 17 pickleball courts in one location gives you more flexibility than the smaller neighborhood parks.

Open Play, Clinics, and Organized Pickleball
Plantation Central Park is the main local court hub, though its published pickleball information does not provide a standing weekly drop-in schedule that guarantees organized games at a particular time. Players using Central Park or the smaller neighborhood locations should distinguish regular court access from hosted open play.
The Fort in Fort Lauderdale provides the more structured nearby option. Its programming includes open play, skill-rated sessions, clinics, lessons, leagues, tournaments, and other organized activities. Advance registration makes it possible to choose a session that fits your level instead of arriving and hoping to find a game. Check current organized play at The Fort.
Visiting Plantation and Looking for a Game?
Start with Plantation Central Park if you already have partners. Its 17 pickleball courts give you considerably more court capacity than Plantation's smaller neighborhood locations. Check current park access information before your visit, especially if you are not a Plantation resident.
If you are traveling alone and want a scheduled game, The Fort in Fort Lauderdale is the more predictable choice. Non-members can use available public play-pass options for open and skill-rated play, and private courts can also be reserved in advance. Check current public play options at The Fort.
